About the Band

A Modern Anthem is a Pop-Rock band from Southern Maine with original songs full of catchy hooks and melodies that make a great soundtrack for your day. The team's roster is Dave Lyden, Matt Kalicky and brothers Jacob & Casey Coughlin. They have a professional sound and stage presence that creates an exciting performance both live and in the studio. Collectively, they have played hundreds of gigs and opened for national acts The Front Bottoms, Plush and Ryan Cabrera - showcasing their catchy lyrics, harmonies and musical arrangements. This band performs with high energy and conviction and their lyrics are clean and well received by an All-Ages crowd.
